Our philosophy

Compassion, dedication, and the science to back it.

We are a family-centered medical and cosmetic practice that incorporates compassion and dedication to promote your well-being. That line isn't marketing copy — it's how this practice was built and how it runs.

The Melbourne City clinic at 16 Liverpool Street is the group's aesthetic and cosmetic flagship. It operates as a private practice, so every appointment is unhurried: one clinician, your face, and a real conversation about what you want to achieve. No bulk-billing queues, no assembly-line consultations.

The clinic's fit-out tells the same story. Dimensional marble reception, oversized starburst chandeliers, a curved green-velvet lounge, and living bamboo — a room that reads boutique before it reads medical. It was designed deliberately. A person sitting with mild anxiety about a treatment responds differently in a space that feels considered than in one that feels clinical.

The space

Medical-grade care in a boutique room.

The dimensional wall wordmark, the Moooi-inspired starburst chandeliers, the marble reception desk, the framed certificates — each element carries both meanings at once. This is a serious practice and a beautiful room. Neither concession was made to reach both.

The retail wall — stocked with Ultraceuticals, Fillmed Skin Perfusion, and MD cosmeceuticals — sits alongside the treatment programme so that the products used in your session are the same ones you take home. It's a small decision that makes the homecare conversation straightforward: we use what we sell.

Patients consistently note the absence of a hard sell. Prices are reasonable, the staff are warm, and the recommendations are grounded in what you actually need — not what fills the schedule. That culture starts with the doctors and runs through everyone who works here.

Our doctors

Fellowship-trained clinicians leading every treatment

All cosmetic injectables are performed only by registered doctors and nurses. Our lead doctors bring Fellowship of the Australian College of General Practice to their aesthetic work — medical standards, not aesthetic shortcuts.

Lead clinician — Melbourne City

Dr. Steven Liu 刘医生

MBBS FRACGP Acupuncturist

Fellow of the Australian College of General Practice. Dr. Liu's practice spans general medicine, professional aesthetic medicine, and acupuncture — a combination that reflects the clinic's belief that skin health and overall health are inseparable. His consultations are known for precision and patience: he takes time to understand what a patient is actually looking for before making any recommendation.

Clinician — Melbourne City

Dr. James Jia

FRACGP DCH Medical Acupuncture PRP Injections Certified

Fellow of the Australian College of General Practice with a Diploma in Child Health. Dr. Jia brings certified expertise in medical acupuncture and PRP injection therapy — regenerative treatments that sit at the intersection of Eastern and Western medicine. Patients who've been treated by Dr. Jia consistently praise both his skill and the care he takes to explain what he's doing and why.

Beyond our named doctors, the clinic's laser and dermal team — Rebecca, Christine, and other certified practitioners — are each rigorously trained in their specific modality. Reviews consistently name individual practitioners; that's what continuity of care looks like in practice.

Common questions

Before your first visit

Do I need a referral to book a cosmetic treatment?

No referral is needed for cosmetic and aesthetic treatments. Simply call or email to book a consultation — the first one is free. For GP services, a standard booking applies.

Is the Melbourne City clinic bulk-billing?

No. The Melbourne City clinic operates on a private (no mixed-billing) basis. If you need a mixed-billing GP, our Preston Market and Bundoora clinics both offer that service.

Who performs the injectable treatments?

All cosmetic injectables at V You are performed only by registered doctors and nurses. Your treating clinician will be confirmed at the time of booking.

How do I get to 16 Liverpool Street?

The clinic is on the ground floor at Shop 2/16 Liverpool St, Melbourne CBD — a short walk from Flinders Street Station and the corner of Swanston and Flinders Lane. Look for the "16 LIVERPOOL" building signage at street level.

What should I expect at a free consultation?

A quiet, unpressured conversation with a clinician. You'll talk through your skin concerns and what you'd like to achieve. No treatment is administered and there's no obligation to book. Mon–Sun 11am–7pm.

Do you accept TAC or WorkCover?

Yes — TAC and other industrial-injury insurance are accepted across the group. Speak to reception when booking to confirm the relevant documentation needed.
